Privacy Policy

This policy explains what RedLinz (a product of AI Agent Worx) collects, why, and your choices. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.

1. The short version

• Your images stay in your browser. Screenshots and annotations are processed client-side and are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.
• RedLinz uses a lightweight account (email + password via Clerk) to tie your subscription and saved sessions to you. Signup is required to access the app; billing is handled by Stripe.
• We only collect billing information if you choose to subscribe, via Stripe.
• If you choose to receive product updates, we store the email address you submit and the date you consented.
• We don't sell your personal data.

2. Information we collect

Billing information

If you subscribe, payments are handled by Stripe through a secure checkout page. We do not see or store your full card details. Stripe retains your payment and subscription records under its own privacy policy.

Image content

The screenshots and images you annotate are processed entirely in your browser using local storage. They are not transmitted to us and we cannot access them.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and HeyCatch to understand page visits, clicks, navigation, and product milestones such as signup, export, and subscription events. When you sign in, HeyCatch may associate those events with your internal account ID and account properties such as email, name, signup date, and plan. We do not send your annotated screenshots or image content to analytics providers.

Optional product-update emails

If you submit the email form on our FAQ page, we store your email address, the page where you submitted it, and your consent timestamp. We use this only for occasional RedLinz product updates. Submitting this form does not create a RedLinz account and no email is sent automatically when you join. You can unsubscribe or request deletion at any time by emailing us.

3. How we use information

• To process payments and prevent fraud (via Stripe), if you subscribe.
• To respond to support or billing requests you send us by email.
• To understand and improve the service in aggregate.
• To send occasional product updates when you explicitly join the updates list.

4. Third-party processors

• Clerk — account authentication.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Neon — account, usage-meter, subscription, and product-update signup records.
• Resend — transactional and consented product email delivery.
• Vercel — hosting and aggregate web analytics.
• HeyCatch — product analytics and conversion-funnel measurement.

Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage to save your annotation sessions on your own device, remember preferences, and support first-party analytics session attribution. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

We do not retain a copy of your images or annotations — they live only in your browser's local storage until you clear them. We retain account, usage-meter, subscription, and optional product-update signup records while needed to provide and improve the service or until you request deletion, subject to legal and accounting requirements. Stripe retains billing records as required for accounting and legal obligations.

7. Your rights

Your images and annotations live only in your browser and can be cleared from within the app. We do hold the account, usage-meter, subscription, analytics, and optional product-update records described above. Email us to access, correct, unsubscribe, export, or request deletion of information associated with you. Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may have additional rights.

8. Security

We rely on reputable providers (Stripe, Vercel, Clerk, Neon, and HeyCatch) and use encrypted connections throughout. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. Children

RedLinz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves — for example, if we introduce optional user accounts in the future. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
