Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about RedLinz. Can't find an answer? Email help@aiagentworx.ai.
What is RedLinz?
RedLinz is a visual markup tool for human–AI collaboration. You upload or paste a screenshot, annotate it with tools like circles, arrows, callouts, and number stamps, then export both the marked-up image and a structured, AI-ready text prompt you can drop into Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or any assistant.
How does it work?
Three steps: (1) bring in an image — drag & drop, paste from clipboard, or upload; (2) mark it up with any of the 12 annotation tools; (3) export. RedLinz generates a screenshot plus a written description of every annotation so the AI understands exactly what you meant, not just what it sees.
How much does RedLinz cost?
Free 7-day trial — a valid card is required at signup, but you won't be charged during the trial and you can cancel anytime before it ends. After the trial, $8/month. See the pricing section for details.
Can I get a refund?
If you were charged in error or have a billing problem, email help@aiagentworx.ai and we'll make it right. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Use the "Manage billing" link in your Stripe payment receipt email, or email help@aiagentworx.ai and we'll cancel it for you. Cancelling stops all future charges; you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Which browsers are supported?
RedLinz runs in modern Chromium-based browsers — Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Comet — as well as recent versions of Firefox and Safari. It's a web app, so there's nothing to install — sign up at redlinz.com/app and start annotating.
What are the 12 markup tools?
Select/Move, Circle/Lasso (C), Rectangle (R), Arrow (A), X Stamp (X), Checkmark (V), Callout Bubble (B), Number Stamp (N), Strike / Line (S), Color Drop (D), Eraser (E), Eyedropper (P), and Image / Logo (G). Each has a one-key keyboard shortcut shown in the editor's left toolbar. The Strike / Line tool does double duty — strike through text/elements to remove them, or draw a plain straight reference line.
How do I add a logo or image to the canvas?
Use the Image / Logo tool (G): drag image files straight onto the canvas, or click the toolbar button to pick files (PNG, JPG, SVG, WEBP, up to 15MB each). Drag to reposition and use the corner/edge handles to resize — hold Shift while resizing to unlock the aspect ratio — and add an optional note in the properties panel. On export, each image is composited into the marked-up screenshot and its original, full-quality file is delivered separately (copy or download) so your AI assistant receives the untouched asset.
How does exporting to an AI prompt work?
When you export, RedLinz produces a flattened screenshot plus a generated text prompt describing each annotation (its type, position, and any note you added). Copy the image into your AI chat and paste the prompt, and the assistant has precise, unambiguous instructions for the changes you want.
Where is my data stored? Is it private?
Your images are processed entirely in your browser — screenshots you annotate are never uploaded to our servers. The only information we handle is what's needed for billing, processed by Stripe when you subscribe. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I paste or drag-and-drop images?
Yes. On the upload screen you can drag a file onto the drop zone, click to browse, or press Ctrl/Cmd+V to paste an image straight from your clipboard. There's also a "Paste Image from Clipboard" button.
What is the session library and Project Info panel?
The session library keeps your recent annotation sessions in your browser so you can reopen them. The Project Info panel lets you attach context (project name and notes) that gets injected into the exported AI prompt, giving the assistant background beyond just the image.
Do I need to create an account?
Yes — RedLinz uses a lightweight account (email + password) so your session library, saved projects, and subscription stay tied to you across devices. Signup and secure checkout are handled through Stripe. The 7-day trial requires a card at signup, but you won't be charged during the trial.
