About RedLinz
RedLinz is a visual markup tool that turns a screenshot and a few clicks into a structured prompt any AI assistant can act on.
What RedLinz does
When you need to explain a visual change — fix this button, move this section, change this color — typing it out in words is slow and often ambiguous. RedLinz lets you draw directly on a screenshot with circles, arrows, callouts, rectangles, and other markup tools, then exports your annotations as a clear, ordered, AI-ready text prompt (or structured JSON) that you paste straight into Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Grok, or any other AI assistant or coding tool. The result is fewer back-and-forth clarifications and changes that get applied correctly the first time.
Why we built it
AI coding and design assistants are very good at making changes once they understand exactly what you want — but describing a visual change in plain text is often harder than just pointing at it. RedLinz bridges that gap: you mark up the "what" visually, and RedLinz generates the "how" as text an AI can parse reliably, including exact positions, shapes, and linked notes.
How it works
Everything happens in your browser. Paste or upload a screenshot, mark it up with RedLinz's annotation tools, and export. Your images and annotations are processed locally and are not stored on our servers — only your account and billing details are, and those are handled through Stripe. You can also save your work as a .redlinz file to reopen and continue editing later.
